Black Hut, Sycamore Cottage & Glamping
I had the pleasure of experiencing a night’s stay at this gorgeous hut in Northumberland while taking client shots recently. Nestled in the rolling countryside of our region Sycamore Cottage and Glamping has two glamping pods and the magnificent Black Hut in its portfolio for guests to stay at.

The Black Hut is accessed through its own private woodland area, the stunning vista of unspoilt countryside coming into view before you as the trees give way to your home for the evening. Making the most of those views you’ll find large windows with a cosy window seat perfect for unwinding, and glass doors leading out onto the porch area with its log burner and rocking chairs.
There’s a comfy king-sized bed, and the mezzanine level can be used as a sleeping area for older children or teens. You’ll find a kitchen area equipped with everything you need to make a meal here, and a lovely welcome basket full of treats.
The outdoor bath is a great way to relax I watched the sunset across the hills with a glass of wine and a book a great feature, with cosy bathrobes and slippers supplied. Afterwards, I lit the log burner on the porch area and sat back stargazing, the skies here are amazing with no light pollution the stars were shining bright.
A perfect romantic getaway the secluded cosy vibes are off the chart, with the fire flickering and the stars above you sharing a bottle of wine or enjoying the treats from your welcome basket you can really leave the stresses of life behind and switch off.
Within the site the two cosy glamping pods provide accommodation for four, and six people. With calming tones and fully equipped with everything you need for your stay its a great getaway. Each pod has its own private secluded outdoor bath and fire pit, and views that will take your breath away.
